Automated control systems PLC - MANAGEMENT OF PRODUCTION LINES The PLC (Product Line Control) system is designed for technological control and monitoring of production lines based on input technological data. The system monitors the correct sequence of products on the production line, defines technological data for individual workplaces and monitors the correct execution of technological operations during production. The system consists of individual software modules that work on a Unix platform on a local computer network. All technological data is archived in accordance with ISO 9000 standards. The data generated at individual workplaces is available on the SQL database server via www interface over the Intranet networks. Barcodes are used to identify products, assembled parts, workers and process control. The PLC system is available in the following languages: Czech, German, English, Spanish. Other languages can be implemented according to the customer's wishes.

1.1. MODULES AVAILABLE: 1.1.1 START ASSEMBLY The plc_stasem module ensures that products on the production line are manufactured in the correct sequence, avoiding errors in product handover at the end of the production line. This module allows the integration of pre-labeled products (OutOfSeq) into the production sequence and their passage through the production line.

1.1.2 TERMINATION OF INSTALLATION The plc_enasem module instructs the communication core to remove the product from the production line status database after passing the product to the last site. At the same time the product is checked back through all workplaces.

1.1.3 CHECKING MOUNTED PARTS The plc_part module ensures the correctness of the parts that are mounted in a particular product depending on the product variant. The module monitors either the correct part type or the unique part for the product being assembled. The module can also register serial numbers of assembled parts. It also monitors the correct sequence of products in the workplace.

1.1.4 TORQUE TIGHTENING CHECK The plc_utah module monitors the results of torque tightening of important joints with electrical fasteners. The system archives the technological data that the wrenches provide and checks to ensure that the prescribed number of properly tightened screws on each product is reached. In addition to torque tightening, this module can check the correctness of the assembled parts or even register their serial numbers. The module also monitors the correct sequence of products in the workplace.

1.1.5 DATA ARCHIVING The plc_arch module selects and stores SQL database data in Plc Archive File (* .paf) files for burning to non-rewritable media (CD-R discs).

1.1.6 IMPORT OF EXTERNAL TECHNOLOGY DATA The plc_ext_arch module converts data from external process files to the PLC SQL database, from where they are jointly archived by the plc_arch module.

1.1.7 TECHNOLOGICAL REPAIRS By means of www interface it is possible to record additional technological repairs of production and thus document that the product has left the line really technologically without any defects.

1.2 TRANSMISSION OF DATA TO TSK TESTERS The PLC communication core can transmit configuration data of individual products for their output testing by TSK testers.

1.3 TECHNOLOGY DATA SEARCH WEB Using www interface it is possible to search technological data about production of a particular product, select products according to various criteria - configuration, time period, error rate, serial numbers of parts,… It is possible to generate time overviews about produced variants and much more.
